LANS is founded on the principles of the best interests and rights of the child as enshrined in the Kenya’s Children’s Act, 2001. Its fundamental principles are guided by a strong belief that children’s needs are better met in a family rather than in an institution.

LANS prioritizes the needs of vulnerable children aged between one and three years. The organization networks existing child service providers in Kenya and enhances their reach through global partnerships.
